In  the last week or so, we have had a different kind of controversy coming out of Africa: at least it is not about Presidents being murdered in a military coup d’etat, or announcement of the scorch of HIV/AIDS increasing in the continent, of course that’s if we forgot the civilian coup that the current President of Niger Republic, Mamadou Tandja, has executed in his country, so that he would stay as President perpetually for life.
