Phil Murphy on Monday, April 3rd, 2017 broke the record of the State’s past petition by submitting over 43,000 petitions

Phil Murphy on Monday, April 3rd, 2017 broke the record of the State’s past petition by submitting over 43,000 petitions to the Department of State in Trenton. This came a day after completing a 21-county sweep of party endorsements making him the Democratic front-runner for the Governor of New Jersey.
While speaking with supporters, Phil reaffirmed his commitment to make everyone feel welcomed in the State of New Jersey irrespective of what is going on at the federal level, equal pay for equal work amongst other campaign promises. This and many more assurance by the candidate on making New Jersey a leveled State where everyone can live in was one of the reasons the International community has endorsed him across New Jersey.
One of the prominent International bodies is the group Africans for Phil Murphy. According to the campaign’s representative for Africans for Phil Murphy in New Jersey Chief Charles Eke “ Phil Murphy is a man that is and will bepassionate about the welfare of everybody in New Jersey no matter who you are or where you came from initially” echoing what Charles Eke said were African leader Hon. Olamide Davies Talabi and international  leader Dominic Tamin “We are proud to be part of history today with Phil Murphy. Our community signed petitions, we are knocking on doors, and we will do all we can to support his candidacy as we trust him to have our backs,” said a very enthusiastic Hon. Olamide Davies Talabi.
