High Chief Priest Dr. Ifagbenusola Atanda, from Osogbo, Nigeria, Teaching in New York City

High Chief Priest Dr. Ifagbenusola Atanda, from Osogbo, Nigeria, is in New York City to give workshops on the ancient Yoruba spiritual system of Ifá. The first workshop, "Finding your Guiding Spirit Through the African Spiritual System of Ifá," is offered on Tuesday, February 21. Chief Priest Atanda will also conduct a two-part workshop on Tuesday, February 28 and Saturday, March 4 to offer insights about the relationship between the Orishas and the Ifá literary corpus and divination system. Workshops are $10 per session and will be offered at the offices of the New York African Chorale Ensemble, 1867 Amsterdam Avenue (at West 152nd Street) in New York City. High Chief Priest Atanda holds the prestigious title of Asiwaju Awo Agbaye and is leader of Yoruba priests and priestesses around the world.
