AFRICANS WON BIG AT THE AU SUMMIT IN KIGALI, AS THE UNION POSTPONES ELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON. Our campaign to stop Africa from tainting the post of Chairperson of the African Union Commission has succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. We campaigned against the candidacies of Uganda and Equatorial Guinea.
In our last article some hours ago, we narrated the fact that despite the fact that the election was going to go on, African leaders were determined not to enabled of the totalitarian candidates with a two-thirds majority.
When the voting started, the Ugandan candidate and former Vice President, Dr. Speciosa Wandira Kazibwe was the first to drop, having secured the lowest vote. Then the other two candidates, former foreign ministers of Equatorial Guinea, Mr. Agapito Mba Mokuy and Dr. Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi were not able to secure the two-thirds majority, as we had predicted in our last article.
